Gina Snyder

Gina Snyder purchased Phil’s Place Restaurant and Lounge in 2001 after making the decision that it was time for her to follow her passion for cooking and desire to become her own boss.  She became fast friends with Karen Wallace (affectionately known as “K.J.” to regulars) who had been working at Phil’s prior to Gina taking ownership.  Gina and Karen have worked hard to make Phil’s the place to be in Stark County.

Phil’s Place has an extensive menu from burgers and home fries to broiled scrod and linguini alfredo with shrimp and of course there’s the pizza.  The pizza is surely Phil’s “claim to fame”!  The homemade pizza is made fresh when you order it, with quality, aged provolone cheese and fresh bulk sausage cooked the old fashioned way in an iron skillet and then baked in a traditional brick oven to perfection.

Phil’s Place is also the go to place for event catering, specializing in pig roasts on location.  From weddings to graduation parties, Gina will work with you to develop a fantastic menu at an even greater price.
