I must speak up for myself. Whether I am at work or at home, I have no fear about taking a stand to express my true feelings and support my convictions. I make a habit of standing up for myself when life requires me to do so.

I believe I have the ability to clearly take a position about something. I make my point with thoughtfulness and clarity. I articulate well when I need to express myself. So I speak my mind with great confidence.

Life introduces many challenges to me on any given day. Some situations demand my total focus and require me to share my feelings. Occasionally, an event occurs that calls for me to strongly declare that what I offer is important and ought to be heard.

I am emphatic when I need to be. With conviction, I get my views across to others. I can present my argument well because I feel secure in who I am.

Expressing myself to others shows that I have courage and strength of character. I am proud that I can speak up for myself when a situation calls for it.

Today I plan to speak unhesitatingly on my own behalf. I am ready to openly and honestly share my thoughts and feelings.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. Do I speak up for myself when necessary?
2. If not, what prevents me from stepping forward and expressing myself?
3. When was the last time I spoke up for myself? How did it go?
