The Albright Foundation: Dedicated to the Children of the Baltimore-Washington Corridor for 15 Years

Albright Foudantion rolingtrucksteph 150x150 The Albright Foundation: Dedicated to the Children of the Baltimore Washington Corridor for 15 YearsI met Stephanie Albright some 15 years ago at the inception of The Albright Foundation at Mt. Hebron Pre-school. Our children attended the school and played sports together, and we supported each other and our causes.  Stephanie helped me with my foundation, Take a Step Food Allergy Awareness, the first food allergy organization in Howard County. In turn, we supported The Albright Foundation.  She has been committed to her organization and charities for 15 years.

Stephanie founded The Albright Foundation after she and her husband sold their speciality beverage business, Maryland Beverage, to Sterling Capital in 1991.  Stephanie wanted to use her sales and marketing skills to assist charitable organizations with fundraising.  Since its formation, The Albright Foundation has contributed to over 55 charities and non-profits in the Baltimore-Washington corridor. The Albright Foundation has also been recognized by the State of Maryland for its wonderful success in helping others in the community.

Stephanie and her husband live with their three children in Howard County, where she is a board member of The Therapeutic and Recreational Riding Center and is active with various other non-profits. Because of her dedication, relationships in the community, and collaboration, the Foundation’s 15th Annual Golf and Tennis Classic was a huge success!  Over 250 participants and volunteers gathered on September 20 at Hobbit’s Glen Gold and Tennis Club to raise money for The Therapeutic Riding Center (TRRC), The First Tee, and the Marian Program at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School.  The weather was absolutely beautiful, and fun was had by all! Visit www.albrightfoundation.org to see the list of winners of both the tennis and golf events.
