Carol Clark

“I am convinced that my Dad would be with me today if I had known about Ivory House Health Services and understood the wide distinctions that exist in home health care services.  Having been a caregiver for seven years, it is amazing that of all the companies I could be working for today, I am with one with superlative, life-saving services for seniors, where my personal passion has a voice.

Carol returned to her hometown of Baltimore in 2000 to help her father who no longer could manage alone in the home and garden that he loved.  As a caregiver, she is well acquainted with issues of in-home care and related physical and emotional adjustments for patients and families.

Today she is Director of Marketing for a company that could have made a difference in her father’s health and well-being and the time they might have shared together.  If only she had known!

Ivory House Health Services is the better choice for expert health care in the home.  Carol’s breadth of market development experience and management skills in program, advocacy, public information and fundraising is focusing public visibility on the unique and specialized aspects of care management and private duty care that is provided by Ivory House.  With a stellar reputation in almost 20 years of both private duty and care management services, Ivory House employs a holistic model built upon clinical and assisted living experience.  RN Geriatric Care Managers and masters degreed nurses provide direct oversight of all caregivers as well as family education and engagement.

“Ivory House is an agency, that is, all caregivers are on staff.  Ivory House maintains all liability and bonding plus continuous training for caregivers through a proprietary online education and testing system.”

Carol’s commitment to the senior market and health care needs is a natural extension of her 15 years of engagement in international development.  It became personalized through the care of both parents in their challenges of infirmity and disease.  Prior to joining Ivory House, Carol was Director of Institutional Advancement at Enoch Pratt Free Library, where she managed marketing, communications and multi-stream private sector support.

Carol has extensive accomplishments in corporate, consulting and nonprofit sectors within domains of education, international health and income-generation as well as the transportation and communication industries.  Carol’s international work encompassed a particular focus on HIV/AIDS and international family planning and reproductive health.  As a Delegate to the 1994 United Nations International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo, the 1995 United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing and as a member of the U.S. and NGO Population Network, she represented the Population Institute, recognized as a leading voice in international family planning.  Carol began her professional career in the for-profit world at Booz Allen Hamilton, a leading strategy and technology consulting firm,  where she was a director for the DOE’s Electric Vehicle Demonstration Project and with MCI International in Washington, D.C.

Carol holds an MSA in Finance from the George Washington University and a BA from Lake Erie College in Ohio that included economic studies at the University of Grenoble in France.

If only she had known, Carol’s Dad might have enjoyed additional years of pleasure with his family.  Now, you know.  The Ivory House team helps people live as vitally as possible and returns families to peace of mind and time to enjoy one another.
