Recently members of the Linda Dear Team, with Re/Max Advantage Realty in Columbia, Maryland, had the opportunity to help the USO deliver care packages to our American soldiers who were leaving out of BWI Marshall Thurgood Airport for distant places far from home for the holidays.

These brave troops will be on the front lines as we celebrate the holidays. It is the sacrifice they make, leaving behind family and friends and putting their lives on hold to defend our country. The USO Care Package program gives a thank you to our U.S. soldiers and our team of Realtors were thrilled to be a small part. The packages contain things like prepaid phone cards, toiletries, magazines, a deck of cards, Girl Scout cookies and more!

We thanked each of these folks and as one of our team said, “It really puts things into perspective as you watch them leave to be millions of miles away from home this holiday season.”
